MACO is a Peruvian illustrator who is deeply inspired by the nostalgia of 80s and 90s retro anime. His artistic journey sparked during the pandemic when he first explored pixel art as a hobby, a playful curiosity that soon evolved into a profound love for anime art.

His venture into NFTs became a path towards self-confidence, leading him to build a presence of his own. MACO is the creator of Super Space Defenders—an NFT collection rich with original story, lore, and characters. Through SSD, he has built his own world, along with a community that cherishes his art and respects him dearly.
